THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
Therapeutic massage is an umbrella term for massage techniques that address a specific ailment or injury. Deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release are most commonly utilized in this type of therapy. Along with targeting knots and adhesions, therapeutic massage also strives to realign the layers of muscles and connective tissues that act as the root cause of aches, pains, and discomfort in a specific location. This type of massage therapy not only provides relief, but also the groundwork to resolve the issue itself. Depending on your condition, your practitioner may use a lighter touch for less painful areas and a deeper massage technique to address areas of tension and restriction.
RELAXATION MASSAGE
Relaxation massage, often termed 'Swedish massage', is ideal if you are looking to decompress and unwind. This therapy focuses on delivering light to medium pressure to broader areas of the body and aims to warm-up the muscles, soothe the mind, and relieve general tension and stressors. In comparison to a therapeutic massage, a relaxation treatment puts less emphasis on working out serious adhesions or “knots” in the muscle tissue, and endeavors toward stimulating the body’s 'parasympathetic nervous system'. This positively impacts our overall health in a multitude of ways.
TCM ACUPUNCTURE
TCM Acupuncture views the human body as a whole, rather than separating it into a collection of symptoms and body parts. All symptoms experienced by the patient, whether they are physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, are part of one expression of illness. Treating the whole person and his/her entire combination of symptoms, rather than ‘fixing’ a single symptom alone, creates a better opportunity for the whole body to heal.
Acupuncture, itself, is the practice of inserting ultra fine needles into specific points of energy that are located along 14 meridians or channels that cover the entire body. There are 365 classical acupuncture points associated with the 14 meridians. These points and meridians, mapped out millennia ago and confirmed by consistent practice, have shown that skillful insertion and manipulation of specific points will produce predictable results in the body.

This occurs as the neurological system is being stimulated to restore normal function.

Sound Healing Therapy
A Sound Therapy treatment is both a passive and participatory experience. The passive aspect is that you become more relaxed by lying down and slowing your breath. By doing this, you prepare yourself to become the receiver of sound. It’s in this place of stillness that you participate by becoming more open and aware of each sound that comes in. Sound helps create the pathway to this place of stillness the same as a mantra helps you to arrive at the still point of meditation. Sound not only helps with inducing relaxation, but also has a way of moving through areas of blockage. Sound has the ability to positively affect our whole being. Sound Healing Therapy can be experienced as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with massage therapy or other specialized holistic health modalities.
Temporomandibular Joint Treatment (TMJ)
A TMJ Massage is a massage for jaw pain. Your masseter muscle is your primary chewing muscle, it covers the sides of the jaw just behind the cheeks. It’s also the muscle that clenches your jaw and grinds your teeth. It can hold a lot of tension, and unfortunately, and it’s one of the most common locations for trigger points in the body. Because of this tension there is a very strong connection between tension headaches and jaw muscle tension. Whether it's a jaw injury, jaw fatigue, arthritis, grinding/clenching, tension headaches, or improper posture causing muscular imbalances in the jaw area, regular massage in this area can help immensely. TMJ massage gently works the muscles of the jaw, which can increase circulation to help decrease inflammation and speed up healing. The treatment itself is not painful, and a reduction in symptoms are generally felt immediately. TMJ therapy can be experienced as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with massage therapy.
